REACH Day Workshop - Bar Harbor
Maine-Wabanaki REACH workshops have been well received across the state with hundreds Mainers participating annually. Maine and Wabanaki people are at an historical juncture in their long relationship.
This workshop, hosted by 54 Herrick in partnership with Bar Harbor Congregational Church, is an opportunity for non-Native people to reflect on our shared history and future with Native people. It includes a brief look at the colonizing history of US and Maine relationships with Native people; awareness of white privilege; and an introduction to decolonization of our organizations and institutions.
Space is limited and registration is required. Add your contact info below to sign up. This workshop is free and for those who can contribute, we suggest a $50 donation for participants by clicking here to our donation page.
